The Christmas Dolly

I have another Dolly storie for ya
Trailride Mary
Some friends where having a trailride for the weekend. I was riding one of their horses so I took my car and stayed at their house.
One of the guys there worked for a garbage company as a mechanic. A garbage hauler had found some blow-up dolls in the trash. The mechanic got one of them, and used the power washer on her to "clean her up." He brought her to the trailride and never told anyone.
In the morning, one of the mechanics friends opens his trailer to get some hay, and, there she was. Hanging by duct tape in his trailer. Scared the crap out of him.
She just "hung" around all weekend.
Sunday afternoon, I get in my car to leave and everyone is on the porch waving. Get home, take my stuff out of the back seat and get ready for Monday. But, the whole way home I'm thinking "Man this car stinks. It needs a major cleaning."
Monday morning, park my car at work, pop my trunk to get some stuff out, and there she was.I slammed that trunk shut thinking "OMG, the security cameras saw her and they are gonna think I have a dead body in my trunk!!" "Holy Shit!!" "I'm gonna kill them" "Ok, I'll drive somewhere and get what I need and come back" "They where waving alright! And laughing there asses off!" "I'm gonna kill them" And by the way, the head of security looks like a drill sergent from the Marines.
Well, trailride Mary traveled to alot of trailers that season. She just showed up so unexpectantly. But sadly she voyaged to far one day. The unwary recipient of her was not amused. He threw her in the fire and she went up in a blaze of glory. Poor Mary.

I don't think my Dolly had any manners at all. Maybe we need to introduce the two.
Look what dropped by to help me saddle up a horse.

OMG! Annie has experience with Dollys. OH, my. Ms. Manners. ROFLMAO...

Ok, Annie, here is a Christmas Cowboy just for you. Much better than one of those dollys. You may need to share him with 4beat...

4beat. I think I am feeling better. It was a little weird riding today...but better each day.

Hey 4beat!

We also had a prim version of Louise - Miss Manners. She was stuffed pantyhose for arms, legs, body and head. We would always dress her for the season - we even changed her hair color at times. However all holes were sealed! :-D

Hope you feel better tomorrow. It just wouldn't be good if those horses are really rough.
It was nice out today, but all our snow melted and now I've got mud. Yuck

You could be right. I did try some spirits last night and found that I was practicing the "worshiping of the porcelain goddess" that Annie was speaking off. I did not have much, but it sure did not want to stay down.

Working on tea with honey and lemon now...

The only thing that I do not like about getting sick, is I never get sick!!! First time in years. Crap is what I saw. A gorgous day outside and I am not out there. Tommorrow I will, sick or not...Jeepers. I wonder how I will feel after riding 3 horses. (excuse me, the thought of this is making me want to go worship once more)

LOL! You know, if I could only learn to read. I have a little bit of a cold and may not be as quick as usual.

A little of Woodroe's apple pie would fix you right up. Maybe add some honey and lemon and drink it warm

LOL! This is a very funny story!!! It sounds like Louise is now a part of your family. This is one of the more interesting Christmas traditions I have heard of...

She seems so alive with the way you wrote this.

I can't take claim to writing it. It was an article in a newspaper. I felt like I was there when I read it too.
